Delete Your Masjidan Jemaah Account

This page is for users of the Masjidan Jemaah app (Android: com.masjidan.app) and the web app app.masjidan.com, developed by Masjidan.

You can delete your Masjidan Jemaah account and its linked data at any time. You don’t need to reinstall the app: you can also delete it on the web or by email.

Important: deletion in the app or on the web is immediate and permanent. Deleted accounts and data cannot be recovered.

How to delete your account

    In the Masjidan Jemaah app

    Open the Akun (Account) tab → Hapus akun (Delete account), review the summary and confirm. For email or WhatsApp accounts, enter your password to confirm.

    On the web

    No app needed

    Go to app.masjidan.com/profile/hapus-akun, sign in with the same account and confirm.

    Can’t sign in?

    No app needed

    Email halo@masjidan.com from your registered email address (or include your registered WhatsApp number) with the subject “Hapus akun”. We verify account ownership and process the request within 7 business days.

Data that is deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data is removed from our services:

  • Profile and sign-in data: name, email, WhatsApp number, profile photo, address and sign-in access (including Google)
  • The list of mosques you follow
  • Prayer attendance history, event check-ins and registrations, and poll votes
  • Points, badges, ratings and favourites
  • Notification tokens and app settings
  • All Pojok Mualaf data: profile, learning progress, questions, requests and mentoring
  • Usage analytics data linked to your account

Data that is kept

(no longer linked to your account)

  • Infaq records (amount, date, program, proof of transfer) are kept by the receiving mosque as financial records, without your name or email
  • The shahada (syahadat) certificate register is kept by the mosque that issued the certificate
  • Server backup copies are erased automatically within 30 days after the account is deleted

Mosque administrators

An account that is still an administrator of a mosque must first hand over that role in the Masjidan Admin app before it can be deleted.
